AudioPen was built in 2023 by Louis Pereira, a solo founder, and is operated by Nicheless, Inc. The product famously started as a 12-hour build, found its audience overnight, and has been shipping steadily ever since — native apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android, a Mac app, and a Chrome extension now sit alongside the original web app.
