The AudioPen Help Center
Practical guides for AudioPen — from your first recording to Windows setups, language switching and telling official apps from lookalikes. Every guide starts with the answer.
Every guide here follows the same shape: the answer in the first paragraph, numbered steps you can follow in under 5 minutes, and a note on which plan the feature needs. Each article shows its real publish date and only earns an "updated" stamp when the content underneath genuinely changes. Missing a topic you expected? Tell us via the contact page and it goes on the writing list.

Which AudioPen App Is Official?
Several similarly named apps are not AudioPen. Check the developer name — Nicheless, Inc. — plus the exact listings for iOS, Android and Chrome, listed here.
Quick answers, before you dig in
- On Windows? There's no installer — the web app or the Chrome extension is the whole setup, and both take under 5 minutes.
- Wrong app suspicion? Only listings by Nicheless, Inc. are official — the 60-second check covers iOS, Android and Chrome.
- Other languages? Speak in one, output in another — it's a single setting, and it works on every platform.
- Just starting? Record one messy 30-second ramble and read the rewrite. That single test explains the product better than any page here — and it costs nothing but a minute of talking.
Which plan do the guides assume?
Everything in the getting-started, Windows and official-app guides works on the free plan. Where a step needs Prime — 15-minute recordings, audio uploads, custom styles — the guide says so inline, and the full comparison lives on the pricing page. No guide on this site requires anything you can't try first for free.
